ABOUT MERRILYN YEBOAH

I work with mission-driven organizations, especially churches where too much depends on the pastor, creating operational pressure that pulls them away from shepherding people. I help churches build simple, practical structures that clarify responsibility, strengthen leadership ownership, and ensure care does not rely on one person to function. The goal is to free pastors to focus on shepherding while the ministry around them runs with clarity and consistency.I identify where breakdowns are happening and rebuild how work is organized so responsibilities are clear and follow-through is consistent. This often includes areas like member care, volunteer coordination, new visitor follow-up, outreach, and service execution, as well as other areas where clarity and ownership are required.My background is in organizational behavior and evidence-based practice. I’ve supported leaders across complex environments with organizational design, leadership development, and process improvement. I also serve within church leadership, including board-level involvement and active participation in ministry contexts. This gives me real-time, practical insight into how churches function beyond theory.Alongside consulting, I am an international speaker and adjunct faculty member, teaching on leadership, organizational behavior, and evidence-based approaches to performance and organizational effectiveness. These roles sharpen how I translate research into practical systems leaders can use.I’m motivated by helping organizations become healthier and more effective, where leaders lead with confidence and systems support, not hinder. I enjoy serving as a thought partner to leaders building healthy, purpose-driven organizations and I am always open to connecting with others doing meaningful work.
