About Merril Williams
I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Industrial Design and currently work at Textron Aviation. The automotive industry has inspired me to get here, but my mind has been opened to so much more. I believe the world is about to have a technological advancement that will entirely transform our daily life for the better. I want to jump on that train, or jet (wink, wink). In August of 2021 I traveled to Venice, Italy to attend the awards ceremony for the International Yacht & Aviation Awards. My senior thesis, Precedent: The 2035 Flying Yacht, was shortlisted in Private Jet Concept category. My project was competing against concepts from Embraer, Gulfstream, Supersonic Jets, Rosen Aviation and more. Textron Aviation own Cessna, Beechcraft, and Hawker. I help design interiors of some of the worlds most popular turboprops and private jets. I have had the honor to work on several projects ranging from full interior models to futuristic exterior concepts. Working alongside other passionate people to create the future of aviation is a dream come true.
