Gateway Systems Engineer• Provide technical support and assistance to gateway personnel in fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of Globalstar Gateway systems. 1st and 2nd generation antennas and duplex baseband equipment, first generation simplex equipment, and various 2nd generation systems and subsystems.• Automate processes with scripting (ansible, bash, python) and creating AWS jobs to support.• Facilitate PowerBI reports, modifications and creation for visual capabilities.• Create and update gateway documentation including Solutions Database documents, technical bulletins, and recommended Operations and Maintenance procedures.• Plan and document configuration changes such as adding radio, trunk, Internet, or PSTN capacity to a gateway.• Actively participate in installation, commissioning, and testing of peripheral systems.• Participate in development and delivery of next generation gateway technical training programs to Globalstar employees at all levels.• Work closely with the SLA team and Gateway Operations in identifying and resolving technical issues.• Function as an active SME for a few projects.
