ABOUT MERINA MARTIN

I\'m CareLineLive’s Homecare Champion, serving as a key advisor on all things related to the home care sector. I keep a close eye on developments across the health and social care landscape, including regulatory and legislative changes, ensuring our platform evolves to meet the needs of providers in both the UK and Australia. At CareLineLive, I work cross-functionally with product development, marketing and customer success teams. I also contribute regularly to thought leadership through articles, blogs, guides, webinars and public speaking events that inform and support care providers navigating a rapidly changing environment. Before joining CareLineLive in 2020, I spent several years working across various roles in domiciliary care, including Registered Manager, Nominated Individual and business development consultant. My experience spans supporting and mentoring care managers, troubleshooting operational challenges and driving growth in both established providers and start-ups. Since 2016, I’ve also been involved in tech development, advocating for digital solutions that truly empower care providers. At the grassroots level, I’m passionate about helping the sector move away from paper-based systems. Real-time communication is essential for delivering high-quality care and while we’ve made great strides with CareLineLive’s platform, integration with the NHS and other key stakeholders is the next frontier, something we’re actively working toward.
