ABOUT MEREDYTH BROWN

I am an award-winning Benefits Director with experience leading successful dynamic endeavors in U.S. health and welfare programs. I oversee health and welfare programs and retirement programs for 40+ countries as part of a global Reward Team. In addition to H&W program leadership, I lead our global Employee Recognition initiative and support compensation programs. For the past 10 years, my career has been focused primarily on benefits and wellness program design and administration. I am currently responsible for plan design, management and overall administration of group health plans and wellness programs for all Travelport employees across the globe. While I have been in this role, Travelport was awarded the Healthcare Value Award in 2014 (by Equity Health) for innovation and excellence in Wellness Programs. I was awarded the 2015 STAR (Shining Talent Achieves Results) Award by the CEO and Executive Leadership Team at Travelport. This performance based award is granted to the top 1% of Travelport Employees. This year, the destination for the Award Trip was Tokyo, Japan. Prior to joining Travelport, I held a variety of Compensation and Benefits roles at the City of Smyrna, John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods, and State Farm Insurance. I am a native of Monroe, Louisiana and graduated with a degree in Mass Communications from University of Louisiana at Monroe. Managing U.S. Health and Wellbeing Programs was a logical career choice.
