Home Brewed Events is a Philadelphia based events & festival management company, specializing in producing high end quality productions highlighting the craft beverage and artisan food industries. Founded in 2013, HBE has collectively over 15 years of event management and adult education experience. Meredith has a passion for brewing and creating unique and specialized events around fermented beverages. Meredith began her career managing and producing special events and concerts at the Abbey Bar as part of Appalachian Brewing Company in Harrisburg, PA. She was also part of the Tasting Room and Event Team that opened the new Troegs Brewing Company location in Hershey, PA. After moving to Philadelphia to be a part of the burgeoning beer scene, she joined Origlio Beverage as a Corporate Communications Specialist. While writing articles for seasonal publications Draught Lines and Heady Times, she learned a lot about craft beer wholesaling and how to incorporate social media effectively for business growth. In 2013, Meredith founded Home Brewed Events, specializing in local beer, cider, and spirits-centric events in and around Philadelphia. Meredith brewed professionally at Saint Benjamin Brewing Company from 2016 to 2019, where she was a member of the small brewing team and hosted brewery special events. Meredith chaired the Philly Loves Beer Education Committee and is a founding member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Pink Boots Society, whose mission is to assist, inspire, and encourage women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry through education.

Doubled number of Cideries participating between 2018 and 2019.o Reading Craft Beer Festival & Phoenixville Craft Beer Festival. Each with attendees in Philly suburbs.o The Ice Bar at Lemon Hill Mansion. Partnership with Fairmount Park Conservancy with 2,500 attendees. Community Involvement. Philly Loves Beer Board Member. Founder and chair for the Education Committee & The Beer Lab in partnership with the Franklin Institute. Projects and Collaborations. After Hours, S.E.E.D, NEPA Beer Festival, Evil Genius Brew Garden, The Buzz and Local Libations Garden. Strategic Events Programming. Developed, created, and implemented private events programs and hosted regular beer pairings, private events, and cocktail classes at Liberty Kitchen. Average 6-10 events and classes monthly. Favorite classes include Certified Cicerone Beer Pairings Dinner, brewing demo for International Women’s Day Brew with Pink Boots Society and Bold Cheeses & Bubbles with Alex Jones of Collective Creamery.
