About Meredith Deeds

I am an educational consultant for Classtime, leveraging my background in ELA and mathematics instruction to develop teachers in the education technology sector. I hold a master’s degree in education policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English and political science. I also hold a clear California Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential. I began my career as a Teach for America corps member, teaching a range of grade-levels in K-12 schools across a variety of contexts. While at Harvard, I conducted research on the connection between teacher perception of students as learners and classroom practice using data from Boston Public Schools’ ExCEL project. Currently, I work with teachers across California to implement research-based, strategic thinking strategies into their math classrooms. I also collaborate with Classtime stakeholders to develop content, analyze school data, and support the development of consultant training.
