About Meredith Metzler

Though I\'ve worked in several fields, my career through line is solving complex, ambiguous problems with creativity and clarity—always with a focus on end-user experience. Today, I bring a strategic, systems-oriented approach to designing experiences that elevate Talent. Currently, I lead the design of Northwestern Mutual’s Talent Selection and Onboarding experiences, shaping how we attract and integrate top talent. Previously, I built the NMYOU School of Business from research and strategy through activation and delivery, including the launch of a highly successful financial acumen training program in close partnership with teams across the company. My strengths include translating leadership vision into action, pivoting quickly in dynamic environments, and maintaining a “can do” mindset through uncertainty. I thrive in roles that require creative problem solving, asking tough questions, and connecting dots across systems. My background in research, analysis, and communication supports this work—and helps me build trust across diverse stakeholders. Despite all the \"I\" statements, I love being part of and making team wins. My leadership style is focused on empowering and enabling others to do their best work.
