About Meredith McQuerry
As a dynamic, hands-on, and enthusiastic servant leader, I oversee and direct a multi-million dollar research enterprise that includes the ThermaNOLE Comfort Lab, Textile Testing Laboratory, and 3D Body Scanning Lab (co-director) at Florida State University. As the Carol E. Avery Associate Professor in the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship, my research focuses on the intersection between textile science and human health and performance with specific expertise in clothing comfort physiology for first responders, military, and agricultural personnel. I routinely engage with diverse industry, government, and academic stakeholders to solve critical real-world challenges through mutually-beneficial applied solutions. My work has been disseminated nationally and internationally through 200+ presentations, papers, and articles.
