ABOUT MEREDITH GARCIA

With over 25 years’ experience in the private, public, and non-profit sectors, I am a proven leader in the Professional Development and Professional Organizing communities. At the beginning of my training career, I sourced, developed and facilitated training programs, strategized with management teams and coached employees to improve performance. After 13 years in the training industry, I took on the Executive Director role at a non-profit organization which gave me the comprehensive business management experience I needed to start my own Personal and Professional Development consulting firm three years later in 2010. My work is fueled by my quest for simplicity and desire to help others reach their ideal place of personal and professional satisfaction. I am skilled in conducting needs assessments, developing comprehensive coaching plans and training programs, as well as engaging audiences of all sizes. As a “Take Control” coach, I pair a high level of professionalism with a no-nonsense approach and uncover inefficiencies by decluttering communication channels, accountability systems, teams, processes and spaces. I partnered with The Container Store in 2014 and founded my second business, Declutter It All, to formally offer Decluttering and Professional Organizing services to all my clients. This side of my business grew exponentially and had a positive impact on hundreds of lives through the end of 2021.In 2022, I am looking to engage teams that share my love for, and see the value in, personal and professional development. I am rooted with the desire for mutually respectful and beneficial experiences, and am ready to collaborate with others to facilitate programs that enhance organizations, develop people, improve processes and have a strong impact on their community.
