ABOUT MEREDITH BEHR PETERSEN
I am a passionate and forward-thinking swine veterinarian committed to working alongside America’s pig farmers to create a healthier U.S. swine herd. As director of swine health at the National Pork Board, I oversee the Secure Pork Supply and Certified Swine Sample Collector programs and support the National Swine Health Strategy, bringing expertise in herd health, epidemiology, disease mitigation and prevention and public health. I am committed to using my expertise and experience to advance the health of the U.S. herd, not only for our pigs, but for our people, too.
