About Mercy Mfon Shammah
My drive comes from the desire to increase outdoor visibility and confidence for People of Color and the LGBTQ+ communities. My vision is to be an architect of much needed change for diversity and equity in the outdoor industry and beyond. I am focused on cultivation safe and welcoming spaces for underrepresented communities to thrive. I have over 15 years in leadership and as an educator/facilitator directly serving community. I have traveled to over a dozen countries training and leading workshops to empower individuals who are the most in need of support. I am the biggest cheerleader for community growth and autonomy.
