ABOUT ANGELICA MERCADO-FORD

I am a former educator, advocate, and community-builder, on my law journey at the USD Knudson School of Law. With a background in teaching, coaching, and advocacy, I am passionate about fostering meaningful change and creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered. As a former high school debate coach and educator, I dedicated myself to helping students develop critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills — tools I believe are essential for creating a more just and equitable world. My experience has strengthened my commitment to advocacy, especially for marginalized communities. Now, as I’ve transitioned into law school, I’m eager to expand my network and connect with others who are passionate about social justice, public interest law, and community impact. Let’s connect and explore ways we can collaborate to drive positive change.
