About Meravath Santhosh
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering at IIT Guwahati, after graduating in Civil Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad (2024). I am a 2x GATE Qualified candidate with strong interests in soil mechanics, structural engineering, and transportation systems. I have solid hands-on research experience in soil stabilization using geotextiles and black cotton soil behavior, along with practical exposure to geotechnical investigations, laboratory testing (Proctor, CBR, UCS), and soil classification. I am proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and technical documentation, and I am currently learning STAAD Pro to enhance my structural design capabilities. I also provide GATE Civil mentoring and project guidance to students through Topmate.io. I am passionate about applying my knowledge to solve real-world civil engineering challenges, while also mentoring the next generation of engineers in both academic and career growth.
