About Mer Temple
I am a fourth-year student at the University of California, Davis, majoring in Clinical Nutrition and minoring in Communications. I am currently an intern for the Food & Nutrition Services Department at Sutter Davis Health, where I assist in the dietary aspect of patient care. I am also a personal trainer and nutrition counselor at the UC Davis Activities and Recreation Center. Through this position, I work with students through fitness training and nutrition consultations to help them reach their health goals and for overall guidance concerning living a healthy lifestyle. I am looking for internships and work experience in nutrition, wellness, and preventative health as I plan to pursue a career as a registered dietitian and health coach.
