More than 17 years of experience of providing transaction advisory services to industrial, banking institutions and private equity groups to address project associated EHS & ESG risks across Residential/Commercial Real Estate, Data Centers, SEZs & Industrial Estates, Power Generation and Transmission Infra, Wind and Solar Power, Oil and Gas exploration & development, Warehousing, Chemical, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG sectors. Good experience in providing both buy side as well as sell side due diligence services, even for projects involving mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for both greenfield and brownfield assets across the SE Asia region namely India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Oman, Bangladesh, Philippines, Laos, China, Indonesia and Singapore.Primary role is management of ESG specific non-financial risks in debt and equity transactions, setting ESG performance benchmarks for organizations, implementation of organization wide ESMS & supervision of its performance, preparing disclosures per the GRI, TCFD, EU Taxonomy and SASB frameworks; and engaging with senior leadership, clients, investors on embedding sustainability as way of doing business.Core skills include Environment and Social risk identification, Compliance management, Permitting assessment, Gap Analysis w.r.t international best practices like IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, ADB EHS guidelines. I have good experience of working knowledge of World Bank safeguard policies along with sector specific IFC EHS guidelines, EU directives, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ILO Core Conventions and various International Covenants ratified by the host countries along with local regulatory framework. I am well versed with Indian environment regulatory bodies like MOEF/CPCB guidelines.
