About Mengze Li
I am currently an MS in Financial Engineering candidate at Columbia University, and I am interested in the usage of Monte Carlo simulation and numerical techniques at computational finance. I am actively seeking quant research/developer/trading internship at summer 2023.I graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BS degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. The exhaustive undergrad curriculum and my valuable research experience allowed me to dig into my recipe - computational mathematics and stochastic processes, which shed light on my current major. With full dedication to step into the quant field, I was able to independently construct a prediction model that achieved annual rate of return (ARR) for more than 205% in 3 year period (7% in real data) at my previous internship. I believe my professional and educational backgrounds make me a distinctive future engineer that could continue my interest and handle the technical issues derived from the financial field.
