About Mengqi Cao
I’m a product designer who enjoys working through messy problems and turning them into clear, usable experiences. Through work at startups and consulting projects, I’ve gotten comfortable moving between research, design, and execution, and thinking carefully about what users actually need.I became interested in design during my undergraduate studies in product design and psychology. Learning about how people think and behave made me realize how much impact thoughtful design can have, especially when it’s grounded in real user understanding.I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction at Pratt Institute and will graduate in May 2026. I’m looking for full-time product design roles where I can keep learning, work closely with others, and contribute to meaningful products.
