Lead and manage instrument design effort to support the development of basic and detailed design of new plants and their infrastructure as well as additions or modifications to existing facilities, in coordination with Project Managers and other Design Disciplines.Specific tasks include – • Provision of functional Leadership and support to project team and Engineering partners on Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) related issues.• Development of instrumentation concepts for control and Automation, engineering systems and packaged equipment • Coordination of instrumentation and controls (I/C) input to Engineering Partners• Preparation of estimates for Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) scope• Preparation of I&C design basis, • Development I&C projects and scope as required• Preparation of User Requirements Specifications (URS) and performing bid evaluations for SIS and DCS • Ensuring applicable codes and standards are considered and followed for I&C scope • Development and implementation of Monitoring plan for Engineering partners • Review and monitoring of project schedule, staffing, costs, and key quantities • Review and approval of IFA and IFC packages. • Leading and participating in FAT and commissioning for DCS, SIS, and field instrumentation • Participating in plant start-up and troubleshooting. • Managing and coordinating reviews, checks and releases of E/I documents
