About April Mendez
My life purpose is to support people and planet to thrive, together. I co-founded and co-lead Greenprint Partners, a non-traditional urban planning, design and engineering firm to embody that mission by rooting public environmental infrastructure in community partnerships and stewardship. We are a team of planners, landscape architects, engineers, construction and maintenance managers, communications and community engagement professionals who deliver community-centered environmental infrastructure programs for the public sector.My contributions to Greenprint are infused with my background in community organizing, interfaith coalition building, youth leadership development, nonprofit institution building, and business for social good. I am a proud graduate of Public Allies Chicago and former co-founder of Interfaith America and The Crib Collective.
