As Employee Relations Manager, I am responsible for leading the Employee Relations and Leave Administration team of agency of over 1600 employees. ManagementI managed a staff of four employees responsible for employee relations and leave administration. The Employee Relations team provides consultation on performance management, rule and policy interpretation, and EEO investigations. The Leave Administration team processes FMLA and ADA requests. Employee Relations InvestigatorI conducted numerous ER and EEO investigations including violations conflict of interest, inappropriate behavior, and possible fraud waste and abuse.ConsultantI coached supervisors and managers on employee performance and correction action. I consulted with agency management on adherence to Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) Personnel Rules and agency policy. Developed rule and policy presentations to deliver to agency management during monthly HR informational meeting. Policy Management I tracked changes to the statutory changes and A.A.C. rules pertaining to employment with the state. I updated workplace policies to reflect changes in federal regulations, state statutes agency direction.
