ABOUT MELODY ONUOTU
I am an accounting graduate at UOIT and successful writer of 2018 CFE. I have spent the last few years developing myself and giving back to my community. I joined the volunteer tax program to prepare income taxes for low income families and students. I joined the board of directors for a not for profit organization – Camp Scugog where I was a counselor for 5 years working with some incredible children, youth and mothers affected by poverty. I am looking to continue my education and gain more certifications such as a CPA designation, MBA. etc. I have explored other fields such as project management, operations and supply chain management. With all my work experience and education, audit and taxation have peaked my interest. I am an individual always looking for opportunities to learn more, engage in new challenges, make long term connections and implement my skills to better myself and people around me. I am easy to work with, patient, intuitive, persistent and i never give up.
