Melissa Gibson, AIA, CSI, CCS, CDT, NCARB, SCIP, LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP is Director of Specifications at Perkins & Will, where she leads a team of talented specification writers and coordinators. In this role, she provides strategic leadership, ensures quality assurance, and oversees specification development for projects across the firm’s North American studios. With over 20 years of experience in architecture, Melissa began her career as a Project Architect before transitioning to specialize in specifications, building expertise across a range of project delivery methods, typologies, scales, and scopes.Dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration within the AEC industry, Melissa actively promotes knowledge-sharing and professional growth.
