On this podcast, we share how we are more than just descriptors and titles that identify us in our lives, our businesses and/or our communities. In this safe, common room space you will hear stories of success and lessons learned from myself and other misfits, entrepreneurs and change-makers. I was inspired to create this space by conversations I have had with people who feel like they no longer feel seen and/or heard because they have been narrowed down into a certain identity. Whether that is to \"niche\" down as a business owner or to make themselves smaller to be more comfortable in a crowd. But how will we ever truly connect with each other and learn from each other if all we have are the basic Cliff notes?Every story you will hear will be from someone who has been there, done that and continued to learn as well as move forward. But these won\'t be the watered down version with structured takeaways; these will be true, open connections.My promise is that from each episode, you will take away not only inspiration and a connection to someone you never knew before, but also the encouragement, the action steps and the support you need in order to create what you want.

You started your business because you had a passion to create an abundant life while sharing your gifts and talents with the world. But the passion is slowly fading and it’s being replaced with feelings of stress, exhaustion, and overwhelmed by everything you think you need to do to be successful? What if instead, you could slash your stress by understanding and connecting to how you DESIGNED to run/build your business so can be profitable mentally, emotionally and financially every day? That’s where I come in. WHAT I DO: My name is Mel. I am an International Business Guide, Speaker, Author and primary care giver to an amazing 10 year old son. Entrepreneurs hire me to reduce overwhelm and create the business, life, and money they want in the time that they have by showing them how they are designed to work. Its so easy to get caught up in the claim that if you\'re not experiencing \"wild success\" by society\'s standards, then it may be a result of your \"mindset\". Yes, that does play a part in it. However, the deeper root of the disconnect is the fact that most of us don\'t really know what is truly right for us. Instead of learning what customized strategies work for us, we keep pounding away with different tools and techniques that are supposed to erase that limited thinking. Knowing your Entrepreneurial Design, which in essence means you know yourself in a deeper way, the more freedom you will have to create the business money and life you want. This space is safe for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ people who have wanted to work with someone who will intuitively guide them and encourage them to reach for more.
