I am an experienced cancer biologist and immuno-oncology researcher with a strong track record of advancing novel therapies from discovery through IND-enabling studies. Currently serving as an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck, I co-lead multiple cross-functional programs targeting traditionally “undruggable” oncology pathways, manage a team of scientists, and drive external collaborations to accelerate early discovery. My expertise spans target identification and validation, synthetic lethality, immunotherapy, and translational oncology. Over the course of my career, I have authored 18 publications, contributed to FDA submissions, and guided programs toward critical go/no-go decisions that shape portfolio strategy.Beyond scientific leadership, I am deeply committed to mentorship, and promoting an inclusive culture. I have designed and executed initiatives to foster collaboration, support underrepresented minorities in STEM, and strengthen team culture.
