To drive preparation of the site for audits and resolve any issues identified by collaboratively working to improve site preparedness.•To improve the quality and food safety culture in the factory.•Maintaining high level site certification (BRC/RT/Organic/BMPA) or any new standards the site is working towards. •To improve site hygiene through training, cleaning method challenges, post clean inspection and sign off. Also, ensuring continuous improvement in standards of hygiene.•Leading customer audit and third party audit (factory tour / documentation).•Creating, managing and maintaining factory quality attributes sheets to ensure clarity on the standard required for new and existing products and customers (ensuring all QAS’s are clear and user friendly).•Ensuring QA’s and QC’s are effective within their areas, developing their competencies on an ongoing basis.•Developing, implementing and managing Quality Action Plans and other strategic within the factory to reduce wastage and improve quality thereby reducing customer complaints, based on GMP and quality feedback to continually improve standards.•Investigate to root cause any quality concerns, micro issues, customer complaints, internal and external non-conformances with appropriate feedback and documentation. Ensuring non-conformances are close out in a timely manner with appropriate CAPA.•Contribution to supplier review and approval through monitoring of raw material quality, raising rejection and non-conformance as required.•Ensuring all the corrective and preventive actions are fully implemented within the factory.•Providing factory based training and development to operational staff on quality and food safety best practices.•Reviewing Quality at intake and during processing including investigating improving and resolving causes of poor quality including defining preventive and corrective actions at each stage.
