What makes me a powerful designer for MediKeeper is my innate passion for health and wellness. I am committed to understanding what drives people to live healthfully, and I am constantly exploring how I can translate that phycological imperative into the design and experience that gets them hooked. As the solo UX/UI Designer on our product team, I have been tasked with designing new features and flows within an existing design system, while intuiting what is needed to modernize and revive users desire to engage with LIFE (and the product). Most recently I\'ve been working on the redesign of our entire portal dashboard by clarifying calls to action and highlighting our most engaging resources. We want to empower people to use our tools with purpose, so they can achieve their personal health goals by aligning with the priorities of their administrators. I have reorganized actionable features, implemented clear hierarchy, and improved navigation in order to facilitate a more intuitive user experience. My iterations evolve through ad-hock SWOT analyses of our competitors and by researching the best UI concepts of 2022. I spend the majority of my time iterating, weaving in interactions, and building out a design system in Figma, while perusing the best designs and Gestalt have to offer. The goal is to increase engagement with the app that we can quantify with Google Analytics and validate through usability testing. Designing easier access and appealing interfaces will bring value to our company, our affiliated health content providers, and most importantly to users and their families.
