About Melissa Rae Good

I began my career at Merck, where my primary work had been the technology development and implementation of low-volume, high-throughput screening tools for antibody selection and media optimization, antigen and antibody expression and purification, undefined media characterization via DOE, and Ph1 program support. After transitioning to the gene therapy space in Upstream PD at Generation Bio, I led recombinant baculovirus optimization efforts to support Ph1 including cell line optimization, MCB generation, Ph1 BIICs-process optimization, PD/GMP tech transfer to multiple CMOs, and technical lead for GMP-BIICs generation.At CRISPR Therapeutics as the In Vivo Process Development team lead, I explored the challenges in the CGT space to manufacture mRNA, LNP, and rAAV, with a focus on platform development, GMP manufacturability, tech transfer, and technology development. I always welcome opportunities to learn new diverse skills and technology, and I work at a driven and upbeat pace.
