ABOUT MELISSA JAMES
I’m an executive facilitator and organizational effectiveness leader with over 20 years of experience helping leaders step back from the day-to-day, work through complex challenges, and move forward with clarity.I’ve worked with leaders at every level, from entrepreneurs building their first team to executives leading large, complex organizations. Much of my work centers on helping leaders break out of patterns that once worked but are now limiting their growth, so they can lead more intentionally and build organizations that are stronger and more sustainable.I design and facilitate leadership sessions that help teams move from ambiguity to clarity, align around priorities, and take meaningful action.I’m especially drawn to helping leaders navigate complex challenges when their business reaches a growth inflection point and they need space to think differently, challenge assumptions, and move forward with confidence.Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with executives across healthcare, energy, mining, aerospace, higher education, and technology. I’ve facilitated leadership discussions, led organizational design initiatives, and helped leadership teams align around priorities so they can make better decisions and execute effectively.Today, I’m the Founder of Boss Brilliance, where I advise business owners and leadership teams on leadership effectiveness, delegation, and organizational structure. Most business owners don’t struggle because they aren’t capable. They struggle because the business has outgrown the way they’ve been leading it. I help them make that shift.Since 2001, I’ve worked with hundreds of business leaders, helping them step out of the weeds, strengthen their teams, and become more strategic with their time and focus. I’ve worked with entrepreneurs at their dining room table and executives in boardrooms.
