The Young Leaders Council (YLC) is an initiative of Fenway Health to empower emerging LGBTQIA+ leaders and allies to shape their community’s future. YLC donors are individuals in their 20s and 30s who are dedicated to advancing Fenway’s mission through special events, programming, and philanthropy. Our unique and diverse voices support Fenway Health in providing the highest quality healthcare, education, research, and advocacy for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and all individuals in our neighborhoods and beyond.

ABOUT MELISSA OBLEADA
People-first UX researcher, DEI advocate, and multidisciplinary team player committed to crafting experiences that serve users and impact business.In 2020 I made a career switch and joined HubSpot\'s competitive UX rotational program. I learned on the job while experiencing several product environments, and found a love for UX research and user advocacy. Before that, I spent five years building the company\'s DEIB programs alongside leadership and individual contributors, growing employee resource groups from one to many, designing a BIPOC mentoring program, and establishing the foundation for what hubspot.com/diversity is today.I\'m passionate about creating cohesive end-to-end experiences driven by qualitative data. I dive into discovering and solving users\' needs through an empathetic and holistic approach.
