Melissa Lee Gibson is a Team Lead in the beauty division at TikTok, where she partners with top brands to drive growth and innovation on the platform. She has broken multiple platform records while advising C-suite executives on content, creator, and merchandising strategies that accelerate e-commerce revenue.Beyond her role at TikTok, Melissa is deeply engaged in arts and advocacy work. She leads the event planning committee for PEN America’s Young Patrons, a non-profit dedicated to defending free expression in literature. She spearheaded the board’s first independent fundraiser at Scholastic Headquarters, as well as the Night at the Museum gala afterparty at the American Museum of Natural History.Melissa is also the co-founder of the New York Asian Film Festival Associate Council, a founding member of The Authentic Asian, and a participant in the New York Junior League’s Performance of a Lifetime project, which introduces elementary school students to the performing arts.
