ABOUT MELISSA ANDERSEN

I am a passionate, optimistic Customer Experience Director who leverages a supportive and empathetic leadership style to demonstrate integrity and exceed goals through proactive project management and team support. I ensure proper decision-making, offering a people-first mindset while highlighting the bottom line to ensure team and customer success. Further, I provide excellent communication skills to build professional relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders for analytical, data-driven strategic direction to align customer and company goals. My cohorts have described me as an empathetic and transparent leader offering superior flexibility to provide a personalized experience across any interaction. Below are a few of my selected highlights: • Traveled to India to establish training programs for offshore colleagues and to roll out a new global sourcing strategy by leading meetings and presentations for 200+ employee offices, cultivating relationships between on and offshore teams, sharing ideas and cultures, and collaborating in-person with global teams. • Spoke and presented at The Running Event Conference for Haku for an audience of current and prospective customers, featuring brand engagement improvement tips while highlighting Haku’s services. • Received a Master of Science in Management from Wake Forest University, completing research projects such as “The Fresh Market Experience” to create new community engagement models. • Founded a “Fun” committee at Aon Hewitt to enhance company engagement by managing a budget, planning happy hours, team outings, cross-team competitions, and potlucks. My strengths are project management, customer & team satisfaction, service optimization, performance evaluation, and feedback integration. I am confident that my skills and experience will enforce best practices. I enjoy traveling, working out, gymnastics, running (sometimes), learning Spanish, and event planning in my free time!
