With a unique career spanning journalism, higher education, and eLearning, I bring a deep passion and experience for crafting high-quality content that engages, educates, and empowers learners. Whether in a newsroom, a university, or a digital platform, my focus has always been on delivering impactful experiences that drive meaningful outcomes and ROI.Currently, I lead a high-performing content production team at LinkedIn Learning, where we develop eLearning courses focused on professional skills. I am also innovating with a team to develop an AI-powered role play tool that allows learners to practice real-world skills in a virtual environment.Over the years, I’ve produced dozens of courses across key topics including leadership, management, HR, customer service, marketing, and business software. I’m also a trusted coach and mentor, known for facilitating workshops and building collaborative, growth-minded teams.Before joining LinkedIn, I served as a journalism professor at Cal State Northridge, where I was honored as Journalism Educator of the Year by the California Journalism Education Coalition and selected as one of three Academic Technology Fellows. Earlier in my career, I was the Managing Editor of the Los Angeles Daily News, and held a variety of editorial leadership roles in fast-paced, high-impact newsrooms.I hold a B.A. in Communications from UC Santa Barbara and an M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology from CSU Fullerton. I’m driven by curiosity, committed to lifelong learning, and energized by the opportunity to lead through change.
