ABOUT MELISSA KURTZ

Melissa Kurtz is an Animation Producer with over hours of experience in the animation My specialties include production oversight and hands-on management of CG and 2D animation. I have worked on feature films, television series, and online productions, at studios locally and all over the world. I truly appreciate the wonders of great stories brought to life by the wonderful, magical art of animation. Working with teams large or small, I dive in with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and leading everyone through the jungles of production to delivery. I have worked with a diverse group of studios, including Disney, Warner Brothers, Universal, Sony, Fox, Turner, Nickelodeon, Wild Brain and Chuck Jones Productions. Applying my creative background in design, photography, and writing to all of my work helps to ensure an elegant and clearly informative solution. I enjoy mentoring, teaching, training in the industry for all areas of production, while also always learning, and especially interesting is developing and integrating production processes and pipelines. I am always interested in helping companies, productions and people to develop plans and processes that facilitate their work, accomplish their goals, and enable them to enjoy the process along the way.
