About Melissa Jaakkola
I am a family oriented professional individual who enjoys being a wife and mommy, but also enjoys landing a deal like the best of them! I can make my office anywhere from the car to the ice rink and back to Pro Logo. I have been very blessed in my professional life. During my time at Grand Valley I participated and lead committees and worked in the Athletic department as well as student life office. Since earning my degree I have worked to build my sales, marketing, public relations and event planning skills in the automotive, marketing, conference, hotel and hospitality industries. I am currently working with companies, individuals and teams to build their brand and show their logo to the world. I am even more blessed in my personal life. I enjoy close relationships with friends from high school, college and career and all along the way. I have an amazing husband who “appreciates” my type A personality. We have three beautiful little boys who never ceases to challenge and amaze us! Most of my free time is spent in an ice rink, cheering for my boys, managing teams and hosting events to grow the sport we love! My goals are simple; I want those who I encounter to know/remember me for my integrity and for the way I treat others around me; I want to work each day to make things better around me including my home, family and community. I feel that a day is successful when I have made a valiant effort to complete my To-do-list and don’t regret my behavior or words to those around me.
