WORK HISTORY
Assistant U s Attorney @U.S. Department Of Justice
Denver, CO, US
I currently serve as an AUSA in the Cybercrime and National Security Section, where I handle a broad range of complex criminal cases, including child exploitation, domestic and international terrorism, sex trafficking, cybercrime, and international human rights violations, such as torture. I manage and litigate sensitive investigations that involve intricate legal issues, from evidentiary challenges to navigating classified information, ethical obligations, and victim rights.A key part of my role is advocating for victims with a trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive approach, ensuring their voices are heard in the legal process. I am a trained forensic interviewer, specializing in trauma-sensitive approaches for victims of severe crimes. I also serve as Victim Rights Coordinator, advising colleagues and providing training on legal issues surrounding victims’ rights. As the International Coordinator, I facilitate MLAT requests, supporting international investigations by overseeing extradition, witness testimony, and the return of stolen artifacts. I collaborate closely with various law enforcement agencies, government equity holders, and NGOs to ensure investigations and prosecutions are thorough and effective, including developing strong working relationships and providing training to partner agencies.
