I have been fortunate to collaborate closely with two exceptionally skilled and experienced senior designers. Their mentorship and guidance have played a pivotal role in honing my expertise and empowering me to undertake independent projects with confidence. In addition to my design skills, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to final construction. As part of my responsibilities, I manage various aspects of project execution, including meticulously reviewing construction plans and details, coordinating material procurement, scheduling deliveries, and most importantly, ensuring utmost client satisfaction throughout the entirety of the process.

ABOUT MELISSA ELBAZ
My interest in design started at a very young age and has been a passion and career choice for as long as I can remember. The idea of taking something from concept and bringing it to a fully functional physical space is something that is truly exciting. In my 10+ years in the field, I’ve learned just as much about myself as I have about the design and construction field.I’ve learned that although I love design for its beauty, I love it mostly for the process. As gratifying as the end result can be, the ‘’behind the scenes’’ of a project is where the magic happens, and where my skills really come to light. My attention to detail, organization, efficiency and time management skills have proved to be invaluable to managing a project.I’ve learned that I thrive in dynamic fast paced environments. My biggest strengths come forward when challenges arise. Whether in the office or on site, I’m at my best under pressure and when forced to think on my feet. My critical thinking and problem solving skills have been essential to ensuring that projects runs smoothly and don’t ose momentum.Design projects are collaborative in nature. Whether with designers, project managers, suppliers, or contractors. Team work is essential and having strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills have been an asset. Working in a team not only makes the process more enjoyable, but being able to harness everyones skills and strengths makes for a more successful project.Repeatedly, I find that I enjoy the technical aspects just as much as the design, I am dedicated to continuously improving and streamlining my process to ensure that every project I undertake is executed with precision and efficiency. I’m eager to continue to learn, grow my skills and expertise and also share my knowledge that I have learned along the way.
