As the HPDC Simulation Manager NA at Nemak, I lead a team of seven engineers across North America in providing fast and efficient solutions for high-pressure die casting (HPDC) applications using FLOW-3D, a powerful computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software. I have over 14 years of experience in metal casting simulation and analysis, with a strong background in both experimental and computational methods.My mission is to ensure the quality and accuracy of the simulations, while working with global simulation groups and customers to optimize the design and performance of the casting products and processes. I also manage the workload, provide guidance, train, and develop the skills of my team members using KPIs, PLM, and customer feedback. I am passionate about applying my engineering critical thinking and problem-solving skills to various multi-physics fluid analysis challenges and delivering reasonable and reliable solutions.
