About Melissa Bender
I advise hedge funds and other private funds on all aspects of their business, with a focus on helping sponsors with fund formation and regulatory compliance matters. I was named to Daily Journal’s “Top Women Lawyers” list in 2019 and ranked “Up and Coming” by Chambers. Practicing at the cutting edge of fund work, I launch funds using novel hybrid structures, advise on cryptocurrency and Fintech matters, and counsel clients on environmental, social and governance (ESG) and responsible investing.
