Site liaison responsible for driving communications strategy, public and media relations, employee engagement, and community involvement for New Mexico Operations (NMO), a division of the Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC). NMO is a state-of-the-art engineering, applied science, and manufacturing facility with more than 400 employees, supporting the KCNSC/Honeywell FM & T mission.Position Highlights- Managed a comprehensive site rebrand, including a new site logo, internal portal redesign, site video, external webpage, and updates to recruiting and community materials. Accomplished changes by working with company leadership and the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) to gain agency support. Rebranded materials all received positive stakeholder feedback- Secured media placements in National Security Science magazine, the Albuquerque Journal, American Progress, and KRQE News, a local CBS affiliate- Led a comprehensive NMO site rebrand including marketing components and community engagement materials. Through a continuous improvement initiative saved the organization in the process- Manage site leadership communications including overall location messaging, the director’s social media presence, and facilitating the site director\'s successful appointment to an industry board of directors- Lead quarterly All Hands gatherings including central strategy, content creation, visual design,and audience engagement. Events achieve a 91% favorable rating based on a year of survey data- Principal contributor of content and stories, factsheets, PowerPoints and various materials to educate and inform internal and external audiences about the NMO mission- Recipient of two peer-nominated employee awards for leading and delivering successful projects, hosting industry leaders, and demonstrating leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration.
