About Melissa Bass
I\'ve spent nearly 20 years helping large, complex organizations communicate better, especially when things are changing fast. My work sits at the intersection of internal communications, employee engagement and change management. I\'ve done this in-house and as a consultant, which means I understand both the pressure of being inside an organization and what it takes to come in from the outside and actually move the needle. What I care most about is the gap between where an organization is and where it needs its people to be. Change doesn\'t stick when communication is an afterthought. I help leaders close that gap, building strategies that don\'t just inform employees, but bring them along. Lately, that\'s included thinking hard about how AI is reshaping the way teams work and how organizations can communicate that shift in a way that builds trust rather than anxiety. Outside of work, you\'ll find me on a ski slope, at a good restaurant, on a Pilates mat or with my family.
