ABOUT MELISSA VENTO
Melissa has over 10 years experience in the planning and transport planning industry, in both public and private sectors, gained through working across the fields of development control and transport development planning with some experience in strategic modelling. Melissa’s time spent in transport planning and town planning has enabled her to gain wide ranging project exposure. This has aided her to develop broad expertise in a number of fields including planning enforcement, development control, travel planning, sustainable transport, however Melissa currently specialises in transport and development planning at Project Centre.Her transport and development planning experience has included the preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans for a variety of land uses. Many of the projects involve a key component of encouraging sustainable travel and reducing the need to travel by car. Melissa has provided technical and project management support to many projects and a wide range of other commissions. Melissa has also been involved in the development of area wide and local network traffic models and has taken the technical lead alongside project managers in the completion of a cost benefit assessment for an area wide model.Melissa is a member of the CIHT and regularly attends the events organised by the CIHT.
