ABOUT MELISSA SAMUEL

Executive with over 25 years of legal and administrative experience, including corporate governance, human resources, risk management, marketing & communications and ESG. While the first 10 years of my career focused almost exclusively on representing employers in labor and employment law matters across the United States, the last 15+ have included virtually all facets of of corporate administration and compliance. My specific experience includes contract negotiation and drafting, collective bargaining and managing double breasting obligations, environmental health and safety compliance and response, compensation (including executive compensation, CD & A preparation, as well as short and long term incentive programs), employee benefits, ESG (including DEI efforts), talent acquisition, HRIS, learning & development, HR compliance and investigations, leadership training and development, performance management, mergers & acquisitions, strategic planning, internal and external communications, crisis management, business development and RFP production, policy creation, organizational structure and development, legal entity creation and management, Board governance, and all aspects of risk management (including insurance and bonding).
