ABOUT MELISSA ROBERTSON
As a dynamic professional with experience across the NHS, third sector, private sector, and community settings, I bring a well-rounded perspective to both clinical practice and research. I currently work as a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology within a Digital Psychological Services team, where I provide supervision to Assistant Psychologists and lead service improvement research to enhance digital mental health care. I also deliver psychological therapy to veterans through Veterans First Point NHS Lanarkshire and co-facilitate Stress Control classes for the public.With two Master’s degrees and a strong foundation in research, my interests lie in trauma and resilience, global mental health, culturally sensitive therapies, tackling systemic inequalities in mental health, and exploring how digital interventions can support better psychological outcomes. I’m passionate about making mental health support evidence-based, accessible, and inclusive for all.
