Governor\'s Council on Workforce Investment @State of Wisconsin
The Governor’s Council on Workforce Investment meets quarterly to discuss how employers can better anticipate labor needs, contribute to the development of a highly skilled labor force and seek strategies that will benefit rural and urban municipalities in Wisconsin. Through innovative thinking and strategic partnerships the council will seek to map out a comprehensive workforce development strategy that will help grow Wisconsin’s economy.I participate on the Workforce Committee as well. Focus Area #3 – Workforce in the 2022 – 2026 CWI Strategic Plan with the goal to increase Wisconsin\'s workforce participation by promoting infrastructure to improve access to job opportunities, incentivize workforce participation, and by improving sustainability of work for individuals and families.
