I’m a holistic plant-based physician, nutritional & wellness expert, health coach, mental health advocate and recipe inventor, recipe/food blogger! Co-Founder of Dr. Lifestyle Clinic, a Direct Primary Care & Rheumatology Clinic and Co-Founder/Advisor of Planted Forward Multi-specialty Plant-based Telemedicine Group. Dr. Melissa Mondala is a triple specialist in family medicine, lifestyle medicine, and primary care psychiatry. She is one of the first and youngest nationally recognized lifestyle medicine intensivists and is a strong community mental health advocate. I aim to PREVENT SUICIDE AND DEATH FROM CHRONIC DISEASE.I have a strong interest in prevention, nutrition, precision medicine, integrative medicine, women’s health, and digital health applications/healthtech/telemedicine. She was a former American College of Lifestyle Medicine Board of Director and is a Diplomat of Lifestyle Medicine. She is the main author of Mental health & Nutrition for T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate. She planted seeds of change in the community through lecturing at local medical schools, national veg fests, and international virtual summits. She has devoted decades of volunteer work in underserved communities in California, Asia, and Mexico.
