About Melissa Meidinger

I am passionate about inspiring and engaging people to design their own life. I am the Regional Director for the Small Business Development Center in Watertown. I engage with clients who are seeking to open a business, grow their business, or fund their business. I collaborate with local lenders, economic development centers, and community leaders who drive local economic development. Entrepreneurs are the superheroes of any community. Being around people who have big dreams is my jam. Prior to this, I was a Business Instructor-Entrepreneurship at Lake Area Technical College for 12 years. I took over a program option with 3 students that now boasts anywhere from 40-60 students. I developed a student-centered curriculum that focuses on student driven outcomes. My philosophy was to inspire and develop a lifelong love of learning in my students. This approach has led to many of my students impacting their local communities by being business owners and leaders. I actively seek opportunities to be around driven, innovative, and inspiring people. I am intentional about the relationships I foster and mentorship I provide. Ultimately, I am driven by my entrepreneurial spirit and my passion to inspire others to design their lives with intention, vulnerability and passion. Be bold in your pursuit of life!
