ABOUT MELISSA MARTINEZ

Melissa Martinez is the Chief Technology & Innovation Officer of MetalTek International, a manufacturer of critical metal components for the most demanding applications that power, protect, and connect our world. We believe in Making a Lasting Difference® by combining our strengths to push the limits of what is possible and make people’s lives better. MetalTek operates four divisions and is trusted by thousands of global customers to understand the unique demands of each market we serve including Aerospace, Defense, Energy and Chemical Processing applications, among others.Prior to MetalTek Melissa spent nearly two decades at ATI Inc, a global manufacturer of technically advanced specialty materials and complex components. As Vice President, Product & Process Technology, Melissa created and led ATI’s Technology Council responsible for ATI\'s innovation management process, ensuring technical collaboration and visibility among ATI\'s business units, supporting the development and recruitment of technical talent, and the roadmap for product and process technology. She reported regularly to ATI\'s Board of Directors Technology Committee. Concurrent with her role at ATI she was also involved with NextGen Alloys, a JV joint with GE Aviation, from its inception in 2017, initially providing technical support and oversight, then as a voting board member and eventually leading the JV as General Manager for over 2 years, ending when she departed ATI.
