Second chair a $4-to-$16 million commercial trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania- Leverage experience as a former Pennsylvania Supreme Court clerk to lead and counsel internal and external teams through Pennsylvania state and federal court appeals and to secure allowance of appeal in 3 of 3 allocatur petitions filed in Pennsylvania- Create client- and litigation-specific budgets to advise clients regarding the business implications of commencing or continuing litigation- Communicate with commercial clients and business owners regarding case updates, case strategies, and the interrelationship between the litigation and its business implications- Depose the plaintiff in a multi-million-dollar wrongful death action to compel an early settlement- Prepare necessary briefing to successfully secure preliminary injunctions against an employee who violated his restrictive covenants, as well as the seller of a business who refused to comply with the purchase agreement, in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey- Manage, with some oversight, all aspects of a litigation, including pre-complaint investigations, pleadings, discovery, trial, post-trial, and appeals in Pennsylvania’s state and federal courts; and- Strategize and develop responses to complaints from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Disciplinary Board.
