About Melissa Lynskey

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor is Bioengineering from Lafayette College, graduating in the class of 2017. While at Lafayette, she played on the Division I women’s soccer team. In her current role at Stryker as Project Manager, Melissa is responsible for Project Management of Additive Advanced Operations projects, providing leadership and direction to the project teams to deliver on our commitments. She works collaboratively with our cross functional stakeholders and partners across multiple sites on all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation to completion. During her tenure at Stryker. Melissa was a Technical Project Lead for commercializing new 3D printing (additive) technologies. She leads a team of engineers that work to develop early phase technologies into production solutions to manufacture Stryker product. Previously, she helped to launch Stryker’s first 3D printed acetabular shell, Trident II, and has since developed printing process improvements in order to reduce manufacturing time. Additionally, she has specialized in new material development on LRM technology. Melissa also worked closely with divisional partners in MedSurg and Neurotechnology (MSNT) and Orthopedics (Joint Replacement) on pre-charter and early development additive applications. She provided guidance on design for additive manufacturing and production cost models.
